How can I be of service?

on a temporary hiatus, check in with me Autumn 2024

Sat nam, my name is Alessandra Bizzarri Todd. I’m a Los Angeles native, born and raised on the Westside and very much influenced by my Italian and Costa Rican heritage. Antiquity has always been a great source of inspiration for me which adds a layer of deep resonance with the beautiful teachings of Ayurveda.

Yoga was introduced to me as a child by my father and later in life it became my anchor in healing my spiritual malady. I dove into my practice back in 2007 like my life depended on it, because it did. As I explored myself through yoga, I quickly learned about its sister science, Ayurveda and read every book I could get my hands on about it. I went on to build a career in design because of my passion for architecture, landscapes and lighting but all the while Ayurveda was a companion in raising my awareness.

A wise woman once told me that Ayurveda is a noble science, as it’s know-able through the five senses and therefore very accessible to all. As our intuition strengthens we can truly learn to heal ourselves. I find this more important than ever in the world we live in today with rising medical costs, corrupt systems in place and information overload— makes it hard to know who to trust. It’s time we take our health back into our own hands and learn to trust that Divine knowing that lives within each of us.

I feel so blessed that Ayurveda found me when it did and grateful to be a part of its Renaissance, as it has endured much over the ages. It deserves all the recognition it is receiving. Scientists are even beginning to prove many of Ayurveda’s fundamental principles by studying the microbiome and acknowledging that we are all unique beings and must be treated as such to heal.

So here we are, giving Ayurveda its modern-day voice by living this life of devotion to the best of our abilities. Are we as practitioners perfect? No. But we are committed and tuned-in to the immense value of this lifestyle so when we get off track we simply get back on. It is a privilege to dedicate my life to this work and endlessly beautiful pursuit of good health and vitality. Please use this site as a resource and let me know how I can help you find your own way. Om shanti, shanti, shanti ~
